How to applied your over stay fine

If your inquiry is about a request to reduce the fine for the delay in renewing the residence permit, find the following information:
You cannot request a reduction in the fine for the renewal of the residence, as the fine for the violation of residence is not possible to request a reduction unless you are leaving the UAE permanently
Only in that case, you can request a reduction of the fine amount by fifty percent be made in exchange for a one-year ban against the foreigner.
As for the renewal of the residence, it is not possible to request a reduction of that fine. However, you can submit a petition request to the Director General of the General Administration of Residence to submit a request to reduce the fine.
The request will be examined and a decision will be issued to accept or reject your request.
