We would like to inform you that if your inquiry is related to obtaining a work visa in Estonia, here is the following information:
If you want to work in Estonia (longer than 6 months), you shall apply for a residence permit as these are the procedures that an employer in Estonia shall do. You shall apply for a temporary residence permit (to work for up to two years with your first permit). After living in Estonia for 5 years on a temporary residence permit, you may then apply for a long-term residence permit. We recommend that you get a tourist visa to Estonia and look for your job. If you got a contract of employment, you shall leave Estonia. Your employer shall check with the local labor office to get you a work permit and then check with the Immigration Department for a visa.
The following documents shall be submitted:
Copy of the worker's passport.
- Academic certificates of the worker.
Experience Certificate.
Medical examination at one of the accredited medical centers at the Embassy of Estonia in the country where you reside.
-Certificate of non-criminal records.
Certificate of proficiency of one of the foreign languages
