We would like to inform you that you can get license by follow the below procedures:

  • Print the form of obtaining a market license and signing it from the sponsor.
  • After approval of the application, a medical fitness certificate form is signed.
  • After completing the medical examination and identifying the blood type, the driving instruction form is extracted from the license section.
  • A test appointment is scheduled from the county's test section or via the Internet.
  • After the success of the theoretical and practical test, the procedures for obtaining the market license in the licenses section complete the test fee (10 KD).

Required Documents:

  • Copy of civil ID
  • Copy of the passport
  • Original work permit and a copy of it + Approval of the signature (for employees of companies and institutions)
  • Security card + request for criminal evidence for non-limited nationality
  • Original civil card of the sponsor for the servant (Article 20) and ratified by the embassy of his country - Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Fees (JD 10) for teaching driving license and fees according to license type and expiry date.
  • 2photos (4x6 blue background).

Conditions for granting market licenses:

The granting of the market licenses provided for in Article (85) of these executive regulations of the Traffic Law 81 of 1976 shall be subject to the following conditions:

  • Age condition.
  • Health fitness.
  • Pass the driving test conducted by the General Administration of Traffic in accordance with the rules and procedures set out in these regulations.
  • The applicant for a private or public market license who is not a Kuwaiti citizen must have a legal residence in the country of at least two years, and his monthly salary should not be less than 600 KD and have a university certificate.
