According to Article (25) of Resolution No. (45) of 2007 regarding the list of legal guardians and the provisions for documenting documents related to personal status in Bahrain, it is permissible to conclude marriage contracts for foreigners in Bahrain provided that one of the spouses has a valid residence in Bahrain and the marriage application is submitted to the judiciary The Bahraini, provided that the following is attached to the application:
Passports
A certificate issued by or approved by the Ministry of Health stating that they have undergone a medical examination for diseases determined by the Ministry of Health and are subject to a medical examination for those who are about to marry of both sexes, and that the number and date of this certificate shall be proven and each party shall see the certificate submitted by the other party.
The approval of the embassy to which the non-Bahraini marriage applicant belongs, and that approval be recorded in the contract.
