We would like to inform you that there is no decision to ban Nigerians from visiting the Emirates

However, the procedures for entering the Emirates have become tight because of the Corona pandemic

This is in general, and if you have another inquiry, please ask it in detail, and we will respond to you immediately

I just finished a 2yrs contract with my company and I wanted to stay for sometime in UAE before leaving the country, then I went to the tourist office here in UAE but they said there is no visa change for Nigerians at the moment, and my Emirates ID will be finish by 29th of September, so for how long can I be covered after my Emirates ID is finished sir?

As for residents of the UAE, the law gives them a grace period of 30 days, either to adjust their status and get a new sponsorship for them and their dependents, or to leave the country.  No fines apply during this period.

If the grace period expires and the resident exceeds the 30 days, he will be fined as follows:

- 125 dirhams for the first day.
- 25 dirhams for each subsequent day.
- 50 dirhams for each day exceeded after six months of the grace period.
- 100 dirhams for each day exceeded after one year of the grace period
