Legal, and calculating the fine starts from the day following the expiry of the non-renewable entry permit or visa, the expiry of 10 days for renewable permits or visas, and the expiry of seven days from the date of issuing the exit permit for violators of the entry and residence law of foreigners.
*** Especially since the Naturalization and Residency Departments were calculating a fine of 100 dirhams from the first day after the expiry of all types of visas, whether for visit, transit, entry for a mission, tourism, or for several trips, in addition to the entry permit to visit for residents of Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
Article 78 of the same law states that, with the exception of the cases stipulated in the previous article, the financial fine collected from the foreigner due to his illegal stay in the country after the expiry or cancellation of the entry permit or visa or residence permit shall be calculated as follows: (25) dirhams for every day of the first six months. (50) dirhams for each day of the following six months. (100) dirhams for each day that exceeds the year.
