If the father refuses to support his daughter, in that case, a lawsuit may be instituted in order to request that he be obligated to pay the amount of alimony.
A permit can be obtained from the court directed to the father's employer to obtain an income statement.
So that the judge can impose an amount of alimony in favor of the daughter in proportion to the income of her father.
We note that the father is obligated to spend on his children until the girl gets married and so that the boy can earn.
The husband is also obligated to spend on his wife.
The lawsuit can be filed before the UAE courts or before the courts of your country.
We think that it is better to file a lawsuit in the Emirates, and you can also ask the judge to prevent the husband from canceling your residency and returning you to your country.
Here is the text of the UAE Personal Status Law, related to your inquiry:
Article No. 78
1- The maintenance of a young boy who has no money on his father, until the girl gets married, and the boy reaches the point where his peers earn, unless he is a student who continues his studies with normal success. 2- The alimony of the old son who is unable to earn money due to a disability or something else on his father, if he does not have money from which he can be spent. 3- The maintenance of the female shall return to her father if she is divorced or her husband dies on her behalf, unless she has money or someone else who is obligated to spend on her. 4- If the child’s money does not meet his alimony, his father is obligated to complete it within the preceding conditions.
