The competent authority may grant a family residence permit to the husband and children of a Qatari married to a non-Qatari in accordance with the law regulating marriage to foreigners.
She may also grant a residence permit to a foreign wife married to a Qatari citizen in accordance with the law, on her minor Qatari son in the event of her husband's death or divorce from him.
