 treatment:

  • High blood pressure occurs when the blood vessels constrict and the blood pressure inside these vessels increases on their walls, which is a common chronic disease that affects many people. It causes many complications in the long run, and the internist must be consulted in order to make an assessment of the patient’s condition and then set a treatment plan to control the pressure, and this is done by following some advice and using some medications, and the most important of these tips is to avoid nervousness and stress, eat a healthy diet free of Salt and sodium and a lot of foods that contain potassium such as bananas, potatoes,  fruits, vegetables and dairy products, reducing fatty foods, avoiding fat and fried foods, quitting smoking or alcohol, losing weight and exercising on a daily basis, and among the drugs that are used in cases of high pressure are blockers beta-blockers, diuretics, angiotensin receptor blockers, etc.

How is the diagnosis made?

  • The doctor depends in his diagnosis on taking the medical history and studying the symptoms that the patient suffers from and then conducting a clinical examination of the patient and running some tests such as measuring the level of pressure more than once during one or two weeks, checking kidney functions (Urea, Cr) to assess the performance of the kidneys, checking the level of lipids Triglycerides in the body, checking the level of sodium and potassium, and other tests.

Symptoms of high pressure:

  • headache
  • Dizziness and dizziness
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • hard breathing
  • rapid heart rate

Our advice:

  • We do not recommend stopping the medication prescribed to you by your doctor even if you feel an improvement in symptoms and blood pressure readings
