We would like to inform you that according to the law of the United Arab Emirates, it is a crime for a woman to abort her pregnancy.
With two exceptions: if the pregnancy threatens the mother's life or if there is evidence that the child will be born with fatal abnormalities and will not live.
 
In the latter case, the fetus must be aborted before it reaches 120 days, that is, during the seventeenth week of pregnancy and one week in the second trimester.
 Abortion must also be approved by a medical board.
Whereas Article 340 of the UAE Penal Code states that:
“Anyone who induces the voluntary termination of pregnancy in a pregnant woman by providing her with medication or by using instruments for this purpose is liable to imprisonment for up to five years. 
****But it should be noted that, with reference to the UAE Penal Procedures Law, in the event that three months have passed since the abortion incident without filing a complaint against the wife, it may not be accepted that the law stipulates that it be submitted within three months from the date of knowledge of the commission of the abortion crime, and this is what Article (10) last paragraph of The above-mentioned law stipulates that
The complaint shall not be accepted after three months from the day the victim became aware of the crime and its perpetrator, unless the law provides otherwise.
