Treatment of the pelvic pain :

The treatment is being decided according to the cause of your symptoms after doing investigations and medical examination and determining the cause and then the diagnosis and treatment are decided by the doctor .
The treatment also includes pain killers containing Paracetamol, non-steroidal anti inflammatory like Ibuprofen, anti inflammatory drugs containing Chymotrypsin and antibiotics in case of infection .

Diagnosis of pelvic pain :

The diagnosis is made by taking full history and clinical examination of the patient and doing investigations including blood investigations like CBC, inflammatory and infection marks ESR and CRP, kidney functions, liver functions, levels of bile salts and pancreatic enzymes, tumor markers and doing abdominal ultrasound, x-ray, CT and MRI .

Causes of pelvic pain :

- gastroenteritis 

- appendicitis 

- Urinary tract infection 

- bladder, ureteric or kidney stones

- intestinal disorders 

- nerve conditions

- Hernia

- pelvic inflammatory disease
