We would like to inform you that you can convert from a tourist visa to a work visa with ease, provided that a job is found, so that the employer submits a request to convert the visa from tourism to work visa with the Royal Oman Police.
The following conditions shall be met:
1. The sponsor must be local and fully qualified, and he is responsible for the correctness of the data provided in the application.
2. The age for whom the work visa is requested is not less than (21) years and not more than (60) years old.
3. The sponsored person must be of the same sex specified in the "authorized" work permit issued by the Ministry of Manpower.
4. The matching of the profession between the work permit and the visa application.

We would like to inform you that as for transferring a visa from a visit to a work residence, this may be done if there is an Emirati sponsor who is legally registered in the UAE. The transfer is made through an application submitted to the General Administration of Residence and Foreigners Affairs according to the following requirements:
1-The transfer shall be made during the validity of the visit visa.
2-The passport shall be valid for 6 months or more.
3-Having an employment contract with an Emirati sponsor.
4-To pay an amount of 600 dirhams as an alternative to leave.
5-A recent photo with a white background.
6- The applicant shall be at least 18 years old
The sponsor's license shall be valid and there are no violations when submitting an application for transfer to a work residence
