We would like to inform that The competent judge shall edit the marriage contracts of which one of the parties is a Bahraini and a foreigner or a foreign Muslim party residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He shall also ratify these contracts and therefore one of the spouses must be resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the age must not be less than 16 years.

The required documents are the passports and the marriage certificate must be obtained by a certificate issued by the Ministry of Health or certified to be subject to medical examination for diseases determined by the Ministry of Health and subject to medical examination of those who are coming to marry the two sexes and to prove the number and date of this certificate and inform each party of the certificate and If one or both of the applicants is not Bahraini, the authorized person must obtain the consent of the embassy followed by the non-Bahraini marriage applicant and the particulars of such consent shall be evidenced in the contract.
