I signed a contract with them with a basic of 2000aed working in Abu Dhabi as security guard it a free Zone company I work in Abu Dhabi for 4 years and was redeployed in Dubai. in dubai the basic salary is 1200. but I was promoted as a security supervisor earning thesame money as in Abu Dhabi. I didn't sign any contract again. Now I have resigned from the company and they want to calculate my gratuity on 1200aed basic salary. I told them my gratuity need to be calculated based on 2000aed basic as per my contract.

Which does not examine the labor complaint, but rather sends it to the labor court in order to issue a judicial ruling after examining the complaint.
Also, all financial rights of the worker are calculated on the last basic wage after excluding all allowances

Can the last basic wage be considered even if you didn't sign a new contract agreeing to the new basic?

It there is no need to complain since my last my salary for the last 3 years have been coming with a basics of one of which I didn't sign a new contract accepting that basic of 1200. That is to say if I understand your response

I was hoping it will be 2000 because that is the only labour and binding contract I signed with the company.

المحامي وليد الحلومحامي4. Was not explicit with the first section of my...Was not explicit with the first section of my explanation after your last response. What I mean to say is there will be no need for me to open a Labour case since for the last 3 years have been receiving a salary with a basics of 1200 of which I did not sign any new contract accepting the 1200 basic. On the other hand my contract with the company stipulates a basic of 2000 of which I have received a salary of 2000 basic for the last 4 years that is from 2014 to 2017. So it means labour contract can change automatic without the concern of the employee. The only is was paid 1200 is bc my emirate of work of change from Abu Dhabi to Dubai. Which has a different basic salary for thesame job. But a clause in my agreements state that I can work any where the company send me. In addition the basic of 1200 along with my supervisor allowance add up to thesame amount I was receiving in Abu Dhabi. So what is the best way forward.

Am receiving a salary with a basic of 1200 currently. it means it doesn't matter if I signed a new contract or not

in addition, my one round ticket and away ticket are still with the company. Further more we used to received salary on the first and the date was change to 15th without payment for 2 weeks
