Required Documents
A valid passport.
A permit to issue a valid residence permit, a residence origin under renewal procedures, or a valid residence permit for those who did not issue an identity card when issuing the residence permit.
A personal photo (4.5 x 3.5 cm) with a white background for those under 15 years old.
Original birth certificate, passport of one of the parents, or Emirates ID for those under 15 years old.

To enable the acceptance of personal photos through smart systems for all age groups, the following criteria must be met:
Photo: color, high quality, and recent, not older than 6 months (35-mm40).

Head position: straight, not tilted, parallel to the photographic lens
Eyes: must be open towards the camera and without the use of colored lenses
Glasses: Acceptable as long as they do not obscure the eyes and do not represent light reflection
Dress code: Similar to the dress in the passport of the holder
Head covering: Allowed according to dress or religious belief
Resolution (pixels): at least 600 dpi without ink marks or wrinkles
