We would like to inform you that according to the Labor Law, working hours are 8 hours per dya, or 48 hours per week. The working hours may be increased to nine hours a day in the business, hotel, cafeteria, guard.

As the article 85 stipulates the below:

that according to the Federal Labor Law stipulates that the maximum normal working hours for adult workers shall be 8 hours per day or forty-eight hours per week. The working hours may be increased to nine hours a day in the business, hotel, cafeteria, guard and other occupations which may be added by a decision of the Minister of Labor.

 The daily working hours may be reduced for exhausting or harmful to health occupations by a decision of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs. The normal working hours shall be reduced by two hours during the month of Ramadan.

What we can do if they are making us to work for more then 12hr?

The employer has no right to terminate the worker’s services because he filed a complaint with the labor office. If the worker’s services are terminated, this termination is considered illegal.
