Dear team, I would like to ask for assistance as I am confused on how I would prepare all the supporting documents and how I will structure my cover letter. To provide you a background. My Spanish partner and I will be travelling together in Greece for 5 days, then after that we will go to Spain for another 5 days. We will be meeting in Greece. We already travelled before, but this is the first time we are going to Schengen. He lives and works in Spain. However, we will be staying in a hotel, because he lives in his parents house and he could not do the Carta de Invitacion as the legal document required in Spain because the property is not his. So, we decided to book a hotel instead. Also, to be less awkward and pay respect to his parents. So, my questions are:1. Does he need to provide a letter of invitation stating that we will travel in Greece and we will be staying in a hotel in Spain, and state his conditions about it?2. Do I need to say in my letter that he will be paying the hotel accommodation in Spain? If so, does he need to present bank statements? 3. What if he sends me money as cash support? Should I mention that too in the application form that he is a sponsor?4. If I did not mention him at all in the application, would it be suspicious that I will be travelling alone as all our bookings are under both our names; or5. Can I mention him in my letter as my travel buddy/partner but NOT in the application as sponsor/inviting person as we will be staying in hotel anyway? I am really confused on how I should construct my letter and the application. The more I give information, the more there will be doubts, but the less I give, it will also trigger them that I am dishonest. If you can please help. I badly need this assistance. Thank you.
