Please kindly note that, according to the data received by us in your inquiry, and with reference to the Saudi labor system in origin, in the contract between the worker and the employer, that there are obligations and duties on each party based on mutual respect, and therefore any threat to you is considered a punishable crime. With it, a complaint can be submitted before the office Work for the purposes of legal treatment, and then it is possible to leave and change work without any legal accountability on you, according to the text of Article (81) of the Labor Law, which states:
The worker has the right to leave work without notice while retaining all his statutory rights, in any of the following cases:
1 - If the employer fails to fulfill his essential contractual or statutory obligations towards the worker.
2 - If it is proven that the employer or his representative has deceived him at the time of contracting with regard to the terms and conditions of work.
3 - If the employer assigned him without his consent to do a work that is fundamentally different from the work agreed upon, and contrary to what is stipulated in Article 60 of this Law.
4- If the employer or a member of his family or the responsible manager has committed a violent assault or immoral behavior towards the worker or a member of his family.
5- If the treatment of the employer or the responsible manager was characterized by manifestations of cruelty, injustice or insult.
6- If there is a serious danger in the workplace that threatens the worker’s safety or health, provided that the employer was aware of its existence, and no measures were taken to indicate its removal.
7- If the employer or his representative has pushed the worker by his behavior, especially by his unfair treatment or by violating the terms of the contract, until the worker is apparently the one who terminated the contract.
