In the beginning, the visa is extended by submittig an application to the General Administration of Residence and Foreigners Affairs. See the following::
1 • Application forms for extending the entry permits (for a 90-day mission) are submitted with paying fees paid via the (e-form) signed by the authorized sponsor on the company card, in addition to the company's stamp.
2 • A work permit extension document for any case issued by the Ministry of Labor, signed by the sponsor or the authorized signatory, in the company card, in addition to the company's seal.
3 • The original passport of the sponsored person.
4 • The original entry permit.
5 • A copy of the trade license (valid).
6 • A copy of the establishment card (valid).
If the employer refuses to amend the status of residence of his workers, the worker must inform the labor office and file a complaint against the employer. The worker is given 30 days to correct his status or leave the country with a fine on overstaying, which are:
125 dirhams for the first day
25 dirhams for each subsequent day
50 dirhams for each day exceeded after six months of the grace period
100 dirhams for each day exceeding one year of the grace period
