Dear Mahar, I am writing for some information...
Dear Mahar, I am writing for some information regarding my employment and eventual leaving the Company. Could you please advise if I am due any indemnity from my employee once I leave the Company.I have lived and worked in Bahrain for a British Company under contract since 2013. I would like to retire in a couple of years and I will be 70 years old by then. I have a contract stating my place of work is Bahrain and I am the responsible person for our Company. We have a CR here that I set up on behalf of our Company and I am the responsible person for all Company dealings within Bahrain.Could you please if you don't mind let me know what would be my situation regarding indemnity once I leave this company. A worker who is not subject to the provisions of the Insurance Law has the right to receive an end-of-service bonus equivalent to a month and a half for each year of service.

Here is the text of Bahrain Labor Law concerning your inquiry:
Article 116
The worker who is subjected to the provisions of social insurance is entitled to a reward equal to the wage of half month for each year of the first three years. And the wage of a month for each of the following years. The worker is entitled to the fractures of the year based on the percent of the period he spent in the service.
