What is the appropriate treatment ?
Many people suffer from sore throat, especially in the current period of winter. Most propably you are suffering from viral infection, and therefore it's recommended to gargle with salty two times a day in the morning and at evening, drink warm liquids such as anise and chamomile, take vitamin C and zinc tablets and have a good meals during the day. If there is high temperature, an antipyretic such as Paracetamol can be used every 8 hours. In the event of severe sore throat with swollen lymph nodes around the neck, an antibiotic such as Azithromycin 500mg pills per day for three days can be used.
Diagnosis :
This requires history and physical examination, full blood count to assess the white cell count, CRP level to exclude bacterial infection and we may need a throat swab for cultures. Furthermore, CPR should be done to exclude COVID-19

2. Difficulty swallowing
3. High temperature
4. Joint and muscle pain
5. Feeling tired
