 It should be noted that after reviewing your inquiry and legal scrutiny we would like to inform you that the ID card issued by the UAE must be renewed within thirty days of expiry. In case of non-renewal, a delay penalty of 20 AED per day and a maximum of 1,000 AED per month.
After the expiry date of the identity card, the holder shall apply for renewal. The Federal Authority for Identity and Nationality will send a notice by text message before the expiration of the card.
