My left testicle is plaining me

Treatment of the testicular plaining :

The treatment is being decided according to the cause of your symptoms after doing investigations and clinical  examination and determining  the cause then the diagnosis and treatment will be decided  by the doctor .
The treatment will include  pain killers containing Paracetamol, non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen and drugs for neurological pain containing Amitriptyline and antibiotics in case of bacterial infection, in addition to the possibility of surgical treatment .
Also, Hot baths and cold compresses are recommended to decrease pain and inflammation .

Diagnosis of testicular plaining :

The diagnosis is made by taking full history and clinical examination of the patient and doing investigations including blood investigations like CBC, inflammatory and infection marks ESR and CRP, urine analysis, urine culture, culture for penile discharge, tumor markers and doing pelvic and abdominal ultrasound .

Causes of testicular plaining :

- bacterial infection

- fungal infection

-testicular torsion

- trauma

- hernia

- renal, ureteric and bladder stones

- abdominal bleeding

- varicose veins
