Hello good afternoon, my name is Geraldine C.Ramos.i have a problem about my passport im working here in UAE as a housemaid then last june 7 2021 my madam kicked me in her house and she dit not give my passport and she file case absconding,what can i do i want to bring my passport and remove my absconding?

No party may withhold a passport except by judicial order and in accordance with the law. Detention of a passport is punishable by a fine of up to 20,000 AED. The employee can lodge a complaint against the employer at the Labor Office and may also lodge a complaint at the police.
