Good evening Sir, I have problem with my job, I'm working in the HE hotel apartments, last day I wanted to leave from work but they told me, If I leave without notice period, I should be pay 3800 aed fine, Then Today I wanted to give them notice period paper and I told them I will work 30 days then I will leave from work after that they told me after 30 days You should be pay fine Then I asked for what I should pay and They told me you will pay for labor. Sir I need your help please help me, They did 2 monthly visa and I didn't go to medical and for ID also, They did only E-visa for me, How I can leave Sir, I started work at 16th of December but there accommodation isn't good, I'm not happy from this job. Can you hepl me Sir please

 If you were the one who terminated the contract, we must distinguish between two things.

First: If the contract is unlimited: Where a worker under an indefinite term contract abandons his work at his own initiative after a continuous service of not less than one year and not more than three years, he shall be entitled to one-third of the severance pay provided for in the preceding article. Such a worker shall be entitled to two thirds of the said severance pay if his continuous service exceeds three years up to five years, and to the full severance pay if it exceeds five years.

Second: if the contract is limited: Where a worker under a definite term contract abandons his employment at his own initiative before the expiry of his contract period, he shall not be entitled to severance pay unless his continuous period of service exceeds five years.

 the conditions that require the employer  to ban the worker are:

- Terminating his employment relationship with the employer illegally and violating the provisions of the Labor Law, such as omission of the warning period in non-fixed-term contracts, for example, or terminating the fixed-term contract

- committing an offense mentioned in Article 120 of the Labor Code

- The worker to work with others without a permit issued by the ministry

- The worker's stay in the state after the end of the labor relationship for any reason and for more than two months without any legal excuse

- Unskilled labor who did not complete the period of 6 months' work with his current employer has never worked in the country at all.
