My name nabukalu sylvia I hv been well with my boss I hv been here for ten months there has been no problem the last four months I was not paid until two days ago when my boss gave me two months salary I asked and pleaded her to give me the two remaining salary she refused I decided to ask her mum to help me plead to her to give me money because of the responsibilities I have and agent trust she was so mad at me i again tried to explain to her but never listen only says am bad, I don’t work she doesn’t like the way I work I hv tried to reach out to people that connected me to her but all in vain no getting any response am a mother I take care of six children who all have to go to school plus my mother explained all this to her thinking she will understand me as a mother but never I need your help because am mentally confused I don’t know where to get help and I can not work with in this state am in (Ugandan)

We would like to inform you that referring to the UAE labor law that provided a legal protection for wages in the text of Article (56):
Workers who are hired at an annual or monthly wage are paid at least once a month and all other workers are paid at least once every two weeks.
** Therefore, failure to pay wages on the specified dates by law is considered a legal offense with which a complaint shall be filed at the work and workers department attached to it the bank statement to show that the salary has not been received and then claim it through this authority. In the event that the complaint is proven, you may leave work according to the text of Article (121):
The worker may leave work without warning in one of the following two cases:
A- If the employer violates his obligations before the worker in the articles stipulated in the contract or the law.
B- If the employer or his representative legally assaults the worker.
***Therefore, a complaint can be submitted before the Labor Office and a claim, as the law permits you the right to change work without the need for no objection from the sponsor.
