I am late on my period for 2 days. Today i am 3 days late so i took a home pregnancy test early morning which tested negative. Is there a possibility that i am pregnant because i am never late on my period

Treatment of late menses
It is common problem. The commonest cause of absent menses is pregnancy. Home test may be not specific thus you can do blood test to confirm or exclude pregnancy. If blood test is negative you can wait for one week. If still, you can take provera tabs twice daily for five days then stop the drug to get your menses
Investigations to do
A pregnancy test to confirm or exclude pregnancy. Prolactin level to exclude increased level. TSH for thyroid problems. US for uterus and ovaries
