I went on a diet in 2018 to lose weight (I was not obese i wanted to be more fit)where i only ate certain kinds of food with little variation and big amounts.. almost same kinds of food daily.. i remained like this for months.. and that caused me constipation.. only if I ate new foods and ate moderate amounts and stopped daily repetition of foods constipation would relieve but if it's repeated daily constipation would return againIt was relieved easily with olive oil as wellI also sometimes ate big amounts only twice a day and didn't eat the rest of the day.. when i regulated timing of meals constipation relievedWhen I repeated a certain food excessively with big amounts.. this food itself would be a reason of constipation whenever I cut it I became better.. after a while of cutting it I could eat it normally (moderate amounts, no daily repetition) and there woud be no problem.. if it's repeated again it will cause constipation again This situation continued in 2018In 2019 I used to eat very big amounts on one day then not eat for days.. 3-6 days (or eat very little amount of food per day..like an apple ) I did this for 3 months.. also while repeating the same foods.. When that happened i stopped sensing the urge to go to toilet.. laxatives didn't help at all.. i couldn't push stool even if it was soft or watery.. if I could only small amounts of stool would come out i stopped fasting and ate normally as we began to seek medical advice They diagnosed me with IBS and gave me several medication courses.. each course would make partial relief for 2 weeks then lose it's effect..One doctor diagnosed me with weakness in colon nerves.. he gave me a strong medication course.. my colon worked normally for 1.5 months then the course lost it's effect.. i would go to toilet daily(4-5 times) but very little amount of stool came outAnother doctor gave me a lighter course, after 3 weeks my colon started to work normally and constipation was relieved for 3.5 months, during that period i regulated my meals, i could repeat some foods daily but with moderate amounts and there was no constipation, but if i repeat same food twice a day i would lose sensing my colon for a day then it works again normally I once ate a slightly big meal, at that time I lost sensing the urge.. and it didn't come back.. i returned not to feel the urge and couldn't push stool even soft or watery stool.. and since that time I could only repeat foods every two days.. then it became three days.. untill it reached 8 days (currently) if I repeat foods before 8 days pass.. i will lose the urge to go to toilet i regularly need to add new foods If I don't add new foods.. i will lose the urgeSometimes there are foods that doesn't cause constipation .. and sometimes those foods make me constipated and unable to go to toilet.. happens in a random wayI must regularly change the way I cook food.. in short.. the more the variation of food i add the more i can improve colon movementIf I keep the variation and decrease repetition "to an extreme level" I defecate foods i eat on the same or next day.. (i mostly depend on fruits currently)There are lots of details i must consider when eating to maintain the sensing of my colon( the way the food is cooked, it's degree of cooking, it's texture).. the response of my colon to these considerations comes randomly and differs from time to time and with every certain food.. with time i feel it can accept more heavier forms of food (heavier than boiled and mashed foods) but this progress is easily lost Sometimes I can eat a certain food grilled.. but I can't eat it boiled.. or can eat another boiled but not grilled.. or sometimes both ways.. this differs randomly Sometimes my colon gets used to food even with 8 days gap.. i then must cut them for 3 months at least then try them again.. my life revolves around food preparation in order to maintain movement of my colon.. Sometimes sleeping affects movement of my colon and sometimes it doesn't.. I usually feel I need to go to bathroom once I wake up.. and rest of the day i go to the bathroom after i swallow food or drink something ( i need to stimulate my colon movement with different kinds of foods and drinks)There's no rule of what i should eat and i what i shouldn't.. sometimes chocolates and cheese makes colon lose sensation sometimes they don't and they stimulate it to move.. same happens with random vegetables.. the only rule is the 8 days gap and not eating each food in big amounts (my colon gets used to foods if I eat big amounts)In jan 2021 I took constella 290 micro (linaclotide)From the 2nd day my colon movement became way weaker(maybe 80% weaker) it caused diarrhea for 2 weeks but i still couldn't feel or push stool.I took it for 2.5 months then cut it.. during those 2.5 months I had to eat bigger amounts of food to stimulate movement of colon.. and had to eat more frequently(evey 2 hours)When I cut constella my colon became much better.. I could only eat lighter foods for months since I took it and this remained after I cut it as well (I cut all meat and rice and began to depend on fruits)I'm now on prucasoft 2mg in the morning And gastreg 1200mg (400mg each 8hours)I previously increased prucasoft to 2mg in the morning and 2mg at night... that lasted for 10 months then I returned to 2mg amThere was no difference at all after increasing or decreasing it Before doing biofeedback i had a 4.5 rectocele, it became 2.5 cm after biofeedbackIt made defecating a little easier (bigger amount of stool) but the main problem is still there ( I need to stimulate colon movement).. I'm currently doing kegels exercise at home daily.. sometimes while doing kegels i feel the urge to push (I feel that they give a stimulation)
