According to the provisions of the UAE Labor Relations Act, if the employee wants to terminate the employment contract before the end of the contract, the worker must compensate the employer. This compensation is half a month for every month of the remaining period of the contract.
Article (116) of the law states: "If the contract is terminated by the worker for reasons other than those stipulated in article (121)
The worker is liable to compensate the employer for the loss he suffered as a result of the dissolution of the contract
Provided that the amount of the compensation does not exceed half a month for each month of the remaining period of the contract
Unless otherwise provided in the contract.
