According to the Qatari Labor Law, non-payment of additional wages is considered a legal violation of the Labor Law, as the law provides legal protection for wages and working hours as follows Article 73
The maximum normal working hours shall be forty-eight hours per week, at a rate of eight hours per day, in all months of the year, except for the month of Ramadan, where it shall be thirty-six hours per week at the rate of six hours per day.
The time that the worker spends in moving between his place of residence and the place of work shall not be counted as part of the working hours.
The working hours must include one or more periods for prayer, rest and eating, not less than one hour and not more than three hours. These periods shall not be included in calculating working hours. In determining the period or periods of rest, the worker shall not work for more than five consecutive hours.
Determining the jobs in which work may continue without interruption for rest purposes shall be issued by a decision of the Minister.
***Therefore, a complaint can be submitted to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, explaining the matter in detail with a claim for rights. It is also possible, if the complaint is proven, to request leaving work and changing it without the need for no objection from the sponsor and the employer and with the approval of the Ministry of Labor to change work
