According to the provisions of the Bahraini Labor Law, nothing prevents you from changing work and moving to a new job, but after submitting the resignation, the employer must be compensated for the damages caused to him.
And in case of a transfer without the consent of the current / previous employer, the following steps must be taken:
The foreign worker must inform the current employer of his intention to leave work and move to work with another employer by sending a letter by mail during the notice period specified for the end of the work contract, in accordance with the provisions of the Labor Law. The notice period should not exceed three months from the date specified for the transfer request.
Then, the new employer will submit the transfer application to the Labor Market Regulatory Authority a month before the date set for the move and provide all the required documents.
After the transfer, the fees for the remainder of the validity of the work permit will be transferred to the previous employer
