We would like to inform you that if you mean flexible permit which allows a qualified person to work and reside in the Kingdom of Bahrain without a sponsor (sponsor) for two years renewable, where he can work in any non-specialized job with any number of employers full or part-time.

Note that this type of permit is granted only for the following cases:

·         Migrant workers with work permits.

If you qualify for a flexible permit, you will receive two text messages from the Labor Market Regulatory Authority “LMRA” including:

·         Confirm your eligibility to join the system.

·         Date and time of your appointment with the LMRA to complete your application form.

·         Your passport must be valid for at least six months, even if you do not have it.

·         Your passport is not required to be issued at the time of application.

·         You will be contacted on your mobile phone by the LMRA Call Center (17103103) to confirm the date and time of your appointment, and a confirmation will be sent to your mobile phone if you confirm your appointment.

After confirming the date of your appointment, please come to the ”Sotra Industrial Services Center” of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority on time. (Please note that only appointment holders will be served.)

Flexible permit fee: 449 BD.
