I was arrested 6days ago and detained in the police cell for two days for consumption of alcohol. When I was realized on I found a fine of 3000 reflecting in my emirates I'd.Previously at the begging of the year I had also a fine of the same amount 3000aed.Total amount is 6000aed and I just can't afford to pay due to my salary status.I need assistance if reducing or removal can be considered in this matter.Thanks & much regards.

Dear, and according to the law, with regard to financial fines issued by a court ruling, it is not possible to exempt from them or even request their reduction.But if the judgment has not passed thirty days, an appeal can be submitted and a request to amend the judgment by reducing the financial fine, and here the power to amend the judgment or to support it is with the court.

Thanks dear for your response prior! What is the procedure since it has not passed thirty day as you've clearly elaborated & what chances do I stand to get the financial deduction?

Please note I was not presented to court. I was just released from cell and found the fine implemented in my EID.Emirate ID number 784199450928637. Nationality Christian. In the Abudhabi fines App I checked & nothing is mentioned as the root course of the fine.Please have a look & advise further.

Dear, as long as the judgment is issued with a fine and release, unfortunately, the value of the fine must be paid, and therefore if thirty days have not passed since the judgment or its issuance, it can be appealed as explained
