My previous employer was threatening me that he will file a case against me. I was cancelled from the company 9 months ago and only now they are telling me that there are some missing records in the system. Is it still possible for them to file a case even I am already working on another company?

We would like to inform you that if sixty days have passed since the violation has been made, the employer is not entitled to sue you unless the act constitutes a crime and not only a violation, as the Labor Relations Law stipulates:

 Article 111:

The worker may not be accused of a disciplinary offense after thirty days of the discovery thereof . Furthermore , no disciplinary sanction may be imposed after sixty days from the date of the end of the investigation in the offence of which the worker is found guilty.
