Hello , im having tenancy contract in Sharjah....
Hello , im having tenancy contract in Sharjah. Which is set to expire on 25th october 2021. I do not wish to renew it but when i gave notice of non renewal landlord asked me to pay 2 months rent to get clearance. Please help

It is mentioned in the contract that i have to inform 60 days in advance for non renewal of contract

We would like to inform you that if the tenancy contract ends in 25 of this October and you don't want to renew the contract, then you have to apply the contract terms by notifying the landlord before 60 days at least.
If you notified the landlord in less than two months then this notice is not legal and the contract will be continued.
Therefore, you can solve the issue friendly with the landlord, and you can agree to pay two month rent to end the contract.
