In this regard, the Bahraini Penal Code stipulates:
Article 223
Anyone who interferes with a public job or service or performs one of its functions or requirements without being competent or entrusted with it, to achieve an illegal purpose or to obtain for himself or others an advantage of any kind, shall be punished by imprisonment or a fine.
Article 363
Whoever threatens another with committing a crime shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding one year or a fine not exceeding one hundred dinars, when this is done in writing or orally by another person and the penalty shall be detention if the threat is to commit a felony against oneself or money, or to divulge or attribute matters dishonorable, and if the threat is accompanied by a request or assignment of an order, it is considered an aggravating circumstance.
