In order to complete the marriage procedures in Bahrain, one of the couples has to be holding a valid residence. Knowing that the marriage ceremonies have to be performed at a notary public or at your country's embassy.
You have to provide the following the documents :
· A valid passport 
A permit of marriage which has to be issued from your  embassy
· An acceptance from the girl's legal guardian, as he must attend or make an authorization
A certificate of the current status of the girl
A certificate of the current status of the man
A health status paper proves you and the man are healthy
· An approval from the sponsor to do the marriage, as it is preferred that the sponsor witness the marriage
This is stated in article six of law no. 14
The article says, the notary public specializes in documenting all official documents, while it is not allowed to violate the provisions of registrations real estate law no.1
Any documentation of a real estate or in-kind money has to be in front of a judge. As for Muslims, one of grand sharia court judges handles the matter of documentation.
Moreover, the head of the department of Justice has the right of authorizing a Maazoon in documenting the marriage contract and stamp it with presence of witnesses.
As for non-Muslims, they can document their personal status contracts and documents in front of the notary public or any party that belongs to them like their country's consulate
