Treatment of headache and cough:
It depends on the cause, so treatment may include conservative management as normal saline nasal drops as silva nasal drops 4-5 times daily, and drinking enough hot fluid and you may need antihistamine as cetrizine 10 mg once daily before sleep for 5 days for allergy or ntibiotic as augmentin 500 mg three times daily for bacterial infection, and you have to wear face mask and avoid contact with others to avoid corona virus transmission.
Diagnosis of the cause of headache and cough:
You have to visit your doctor for clinincal examination and investigations as CBC to detect infection, chest x-ray and PCR for covid-19 infection.
Causes of headache and cough:
It may be due to:
- Allergy
- Viral infection
- Bacterial infection
- Covid-19 infection...etc
What i advise you:
Till the right diagnosis you can use cetrizine 10 mg once daily before sleep for 5 days for allergy
