I am Jordanian and my mother and grandmother are from north cyprus (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus). I have north cyprus birth and death certificates for both of them. I want to ask if i can apply for the Republic of Cyprus citizenship as my mother and grandmother are both Cypriot in origin?. I was born in 1979.

We would like to inform you that you can submit an application to the Civil Registry and Immigration Department, provincial administration offices, and diplomatic missions in the Republic (embassies and consulates).
Attaching the below :
1. Applicant's birth certificate
2. Free criminal record of the applicant
3. Applicant's marriage contract
4. A copy of the applicant’s passport, clearly indicating the dates of arrival, departure or both
5. A detailed list of all arrivals and departures made by each applicant
6. Copies of newspaper advertisements in two successive publications stating that the applicant has applied for citizenship
7. Copy of the application fee payment receipt (500 euros for obtaining Cypriot citizenship through naturalization)
8. A statement of harmonious cohabitation signed in the presence of an employee of the district administration office or diplomatic authority.
9. Birth certificates of the children of the spouses (if there are children)
