To obtain a family visa for Malta, you have to go to the Embassy of Malta in the country in which you reside and apply for a family visitor visa with the following documents:

• Fill out the Malta visa application form
• 2 recent photos with white background
• The passport is valid for no less than 3 months after returning, in addition to containing at least two blank pages
• A copy of previous entry visas, if any
• Health insurance covering the length of travel to Malta
• A letter explaining the travel plan to Malta
• Reservation of a round trip plane ticket
• Book a hotel or provide a letter of invitation from the person hosting you
• Proof of the applicant’s family status (marriage contract, children’s birth certificate)
• Proof of ability to cover travel expenses
• Malta visa fee of 60 euros for those over 12 years old, 35 euros for children between 6 and 11 years old and free for those under the age of 6.
• Follow up on the visa application, and once your application is accepted and the visa is issued, you can travel to Malta
