We would like to inform you that if your contract with the company ends and you want to transfer to another company, but the employer refuses and does not renew the contract and did not pay the settlement, in this case you can transfer your residence to the new employer, provided that you prove the termination of your work contract and the competent government agency agrees to the new employer's contract with you

 This is according to the provisions of the executive regulations of the Omani Residence of Foreigners Law, which reads as follows:

 Article (24)

 “The residency of a foreigner may be transferred from an employer to another who has a license to recruit workers, provided that proof of the termination, termination or termination of the work contract is submitted, and evidence proving the approval of the competent government authority on the second employer's contract with the foreigner, according to the controls specified by the competent authority.

 The transfer of the residency of the foreigner entails the transfer of the residency of his family members who are joining him to the second employer when the necessary conditions for their residency are met, and until the procedures for the transfer of residency are completed, the responsibility of the first employer remains in place in everything related to the foreigner's residence.
