How to report a verbal abuse at workplace

We would like to inform you that if you were under verbal abuse in the workplace, then according to the Omani Penal Code you can file a complaint with evidence to the employer. If he didn't reply for investigation and punishment, then you have to go to the nearest police office or to the Public Prosecution and file a criminal complaint as this is considered a crime. 
According to the Law states;
Article 5:
A public action is only filed:
1- Based on an oral or written complaint from the victim or his personal attorney in crimes that are required by law, and the complaint is not accepted after three months of the victim's knowledge of the crime and its perpetrator unless the law stipulates otherwise.
2- Based on a written request or after obtaining written permission from the competent authority in crimes that are required by law.
Article (6)
The complaint or the request is submitted to the public prosecutor or one of the judicial officers, and investigation measures may not be taken except after submitting the complaint, request, or issuance of permission.
Once you filed the complaint then they will follow up and then refer it to the court after the end of investigations, then punish the person who did the verbal abuse according to the law.
