What is the treatment for prostatitis?
Prostatitis is treated by using antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin 500mg twice a day for two weeks, and if there is pain, you can benefit from taking a pain reliever such as ibuprofen 600 mg twice a day for pain relief. It is also recommended to get enough rest, drink a lot of water at a rate of 2.5 liters per day (in the absence of any contraindication, such as heart failure)and it is also recommended to take vitamin C and zinc tablets to enhance immunity, in addition to omega-3 and probiotics.
