Absnet menses after implant
It is common problem. Implanats usually contain progesterone hormone. You can firstly do pregnancy test to exclude pregnancy as routine for each absent menses case. You can take PROVERA tabs twice daily for five days and then stop it. It is expected to have menses within one week after stopping the drug.
Investigations to do
pregnancy test as usual. you can do prolactin level to exclude hyperprolactinmia or increased prolactin level. TSH level for thyroid problems. US for uterus and ovaries.
