Article 349
He shall be punished by imprisonment for a period no less than (3) three months and not exceeding (2) two years, and a fine no less than (100) one hundred Rial Omani and not exceeding (300) three hundred Rial Omani or by one of these two penalties, whoever obtains from a third party an unlawful benefit for himself or others by using one of the methods of fraud or by adopting a false name or an incorrect description, and the punishment is tightened, provided that it does not exceed the double if the act of fraud is committed against a person under (18) eighteen years of age or an adult who does not possess all his distinctive powers.
