We would like to inform you that for how to treat your maid, the work contract drawn up between you and the servants is referred to, as the provisions of the work contract are the ruling and should be applied to the relationship between you, and the employment contract must include the following obligations:
1- That the employee be paid a monthly wage in the national currency within seven days from the end of each month or from the end of the period for which he is entitled to the wage, and the recruiter shall not be discharged from the wage unless the employer signs what indicates that he has received his wage.
2- Providing adequate food and housing when required by the nature of the work, as well as local medical treatment free of charge for the user throughout the contract period.
3- Notify the concerned department in the ministry in the event of the user’s service termination or his escape. In the case of absconding, the procedures established in this regard must be taken.
The employment contract must also include the following obligations of the user:
1- He shall work in the service of the recruiter in the work employed in it, abiding by his orders and under his management and supervision, and to preserve the secrets of the work.
2- Preserving the things handed over to him to perform his work and returning them at the end of his service.
3- Respecting the Islamic religion and abiding by the laws and regulations in force in the Sultanate, its customs, social traditions and moral values, and not practicing any activities that harm the security of the country.
4- Failure to work for any other person before the recruiter relinquishes his sponsorship and completes the rest of the necessary procedures in this regard in accordance with the applicable systems.

This is according to the provisions of the Minister of Manpower Decision No. 189 of 2004, states:
Article (4): 
The employment contract must be written in the Arabic language. If the contract is in a language other than the Arabic language, a copy in Arabic must be attached to it, signed by the two parties, which has the same power of proof.
Article (5):
 The employment contract must include the following obligations of the applicant:
1- That the employee be paid a monthly wage in the national currency within seven days from the end of each month or from the end of the period for which he is entitled to the wage, and the recruiter shall not be discharged from the wage unless the employer signs what indicates that he has received his wage.

Article (6) 
The employee is entitled to a travel ticket to his country if the applicant wishes to terminate the work relationship during the three-month probation period or during the validity period of the employment contract or upon the expiration of its period. The user is also entitled to a travel ticket to his country to spend his vacation agreed upon in the contract and back to the headquarters Currency.
 
Article (7): The employment contract must include the following obligations of the user:

Article (8): 
The employment contract ends with the death of the user or the applicant, and if the family of the recruiter wishes to continue the stay of the user, they must fulfill the procedures established in this regard, and the recruiter may terminate the employment contract provided that he notifies the user about that one month before the date specified for terminating the contract or paying his wage for The advertisement period.
The user may also terminate the contract provided that he notifies the recruiter one month before the date specified for termination of the contract, and the user has that if it is proven that he has been assaulted by the recruiter or by one of his family members.
