You can file a lawsuit for joining children with the Family Court where according to the Sunni jurisprudence, custody of women ends when the male reaches fifteen years, and for the female until she marries and the husband enters her, and according to the Jaafari jurisprudence, custody of the mother ends at the completion of the age of seven for the son or daughter, and after the age of seven, custody is the father.
This is stipulated in Article 124 of the Bahraini Family Law
