Please be noted that it is required to transfer the car ownership in the following Emirates: -
From the seller: vehicle ownership + Emirates ID card (in case the ID card is invalid, it can be replaced with the passport).
From the buyer if he is a citizen or a citizen of the Gulf Cooperation Council: the original Emirates ID + a copy of a valid passport to update the information in case of its expiration.
From the buyer if he is residing in Dubai and the other Emirates: original Emirates ID + copy of the passport and valid residence.
From the buyer if he is a diplomat: a valid diplomatic card + a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
From the buyer if he is a resident and his residence from the Oilfield Processing Center: No objection certificate for vehicle registration.
Electronic vehicle insurance.
Adding or releasing the mortgage electronically in case the vehicle is under mortgage.
Vehicle inspection.
Handing the plates to the center in case the seller wishes to keep the plate numbers.
A letter from the police in the event that one of the vehicle plates is missing or the two (2) plates are lost together, or if the motorcycle plate is lost.
