I want to divorce my wife

We would like to inform you that according to the Personal Status Law, the divorce of every sane, adult, who ever chooses, and conscious of what he says, as the divorce of the insane, the loony, the coerced, the guilty, the drunk, the astonished, and the anger if the defect prevails in his words and actions does not take place. Divorce does not take place on the wife unless she is in a valid marriage, not in the waiting period, and the divorce is explicitly pronounced in it by custom. Also, it does not take place in the wording of writing except with the intention, and it takes place in writing when he is unable to pronounce it, and it occurs with an understandable sign when he is unable to speak and write. It is a condition in the divorce that it be completed and the husband has to delegate someone else to divorce, and that person is not authorized to delegate to others except with the husband’s permission, and this may endwith dismissal, provided that person knows.

The court and the divorce procedure may be reviewed by submitting the following:

1- The original marriage contract.

2- Certification of the foreign marriage contract from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the contract.

3- The original civil ID.

4- A power of attorney for divorce in the presence of an attorney.

5- The letter of the Central Committee for illegal residents.

6- The birth certificate of the son present on behalf of his mother.
