We would like to inform you that if you sign the resignation, you can not claim any financial rights associated with arbitrary dismissal.

If you are forced to resign against your will, you can file a complaint at the Ministry of Human Resources against the employer.

Any witnesses shall be submited in order to privide statements that you have been forced to submit your resignation and that you want to continue working.

As we have already explained, witnesses must be brought to confirm that you have been forced to resign.

If you can not provide evidence that you have been forced to submit your resignation, your legal position will be very poor if you file a complaint at the Ministry of Human Resources

Thanks for the quick reply, Moheb. They were also asking me to sign a print-out of an Electronic Work Permit Cancellation along with the resignation letter.Going back to your answer, if I sign the resignation letter I can't have any claim to financial right such as end of service payment? If so what do I need to do, i.e. avail to all arbitrary financial rights if the resignation is based on mutual agreement? I am being told that I should just agree and sign the documents or else it could be bad for me. For example they repossessed my work laptop 9 days ago that has all my work emails and other documents and told me I was being put on temporary suspension and that I should stand by for further instructions. But they never got back to me officially (regarding the temporary suspension as well as taking my laptop) and now they are saying they can accuse me of absconding my work so it's better for me to sign both documents (resignation letter and the Electronic Work Permit Cancellation print-out).

You must ask the employer that the document on which he requests your signature includes the phrase (that the work contract has ended with the mutual consent of the employer who is obligated to pay the end of service reward in full to the worker)
This is in order to ensure that you obtain all your financial rights
